Last night, the awesomeness of was demonstrated in exactly the way that the Team has been imagining!

As part of our marketing plan, I have been using Twitter to broadcast the encountergrams and Inquires that are posted on the maps in hopes that the individuals, who they are intended for, will get notified via the power of the social web. One of the Encountergrams was a message of gratitude from a student at High Point University in North Carolina for help she received writing a paper.

I received a Twitter reply from a tweet that had been posted a few days ago, which read: @LeslynK: “is this real?” To which I replied “absolutely!” – The user replied: “That really made my day!” and “ is really neat”. The recipient went on to post a comment on the discussion panel of the encounter point and the person who had left it – replied to her question. It was such a perfect example of how is a platform for appreciating people – people feeling validated – the extension and expression of gratitude – and overall positivity! For the Team , it was exciting to see unfold. I continue to share encountergrams and Inquiries on Twitter in an effort to deliver the messages that users post and hope to bring you more stories of how gratitude makes a difference!
